TESTIMONIALS

"The i2s equipment has been an unparalleled help to kick starting our projects and maintaining the integrity of our records.

The one feature that has been critical for us is the book cradle. This project could not be completed if this feature were not available."

"The sales staff and support staff have been remarkable. It took a couple of years for our county government to agree to the funding, but once all was finalized and setup, the projects began and importance of the equipment was fully realized."

“ The DigiBook Quartz A1 allows us to capture larger sized materials in one pass... We get quality scans and save a lot of time.”

“Many of the rare books, prints, manuscripts, and broadsides that we scan are oversized. In the past, we couldn't fit them on our small scanner and had to subject the rare material to flipping the books upside down, scanning the item in parts, followed by spending hours stitching the images back together. Having a large scan area and the ability to lay the book right side up, has been a game changer for us.  “

“What I like most about the SupraScan Quartz A1 is the scan area size, speed, high resolution, glass plate for holding the material in place, lighting options, and the ability to save scan immediately to a shared drive.”

We began digitizing projects from the Dallas Public Library collection, including over-sized family scrapbooks, manuscript collections and the City of Dallas building permit books. Now, we've opened the room with the CopiBook Scanner to the public as part of our Heritage Lab maker's space. We have customers do a short introductory training and then they are able to use the CopiBook Scanner for their own family history projects. We've had customers bring letters from 1941 Pearl Harbor, family scrapbooks and rare family history books to be scanned. Customers are impressed with how quickly they can scan their projects and how easy it is to use.

“During a demo, Andrew answered every question we asked in detail.  After our purchase, Andrew and Wilson were there the first day to unpack and move the scanner to its destination. We had an issue with the camera; however, they quickly replaced it with one in their office, until the official replacement arrived, which was installed and working within a week!”

The Image Retrieval support and sales staff are the best. We are very lucky that our library is so close to the Image Retrieval office, because the team can just pop right over whenever we have a question or need help with the scanner. Staff is very responsive and support staff in particular, is really helpful in customizing the software to meet our needs.
