The NEW QUARTZ A1 is the fourth generation of the highly successful SupraScan line of large format scanners. The QUARTZ is i2s’ premier line of scanners designed to satisfy the most demanding end-users, especially in terms of image quality. Unmatched to any other A1 scanner on the market, the QUARTZ produces the best images, hands down.
The uniquely designed mechanical book cradle allows the users to capture A1 sized items either on its self-balancing book cradle or easily convertible flat table surface. The QUARTZ is specifically designed to capture archival level images from nearly every type of bound or unbound material found in libraries and archives.

The QUARTZ A1 comes in two models:

Scanning and Productivity
The NEW QUARTZ A1 is now twice as fast as its predecessor while still being able to produce the same high-quality images. It is equipped with an A1+ size book cradle which utilizes a full A1 scan glass that can easily be removed in under 5 seconds for items that need to be scanned without contact. Pressure sensors can be used to set the exact amount of pressure required for every item being scanned.
